Phil Swinsburg has had a lead role in the unmanned systems industry in both a military and commercial capability. A central figure in the introduction of Unmanned Systems in the ADF, Phil became the Commanding Officer of the first UAS unit. Now Managing Director of Unmanned System Australia, he has partnered with Google X Team, overseeing the expansion of the drone delivery capability in Australia and Europe.
LTCOL Rod Lang Commands the 20th Surveillance and Target Acquisition Regiment; the ADF’s only dedicated UAS capability. LTCOL Lang has been at the forefront of the development of Army’s UAS capability through training, command roles and operational UAS experience.
