Defence in Business, in partnership with EY, are very excited to invite you to our next Defence and business community forum on ‘The future of work’ and forward-thinking concepts that enable transition between Defence and Industry.
The evening will be opened by EY's Partner of Advisory - Program & Portfolio Management, Dirk-Jan Gussinklo, who will welcome the guests.
After that, Dr Juliet Andrews, EY's Partner People Advisory Services, will give an overview of how EY sees the future of work and how talent strategies and the right focus on productivity, well-being and behavioural change enable sustained business success.
As a highly relevant example of a forward-thinking future workforce model, Brigadier Simon Gould DSC will then provide an overview of Defence’s Total Workforce Model (Suakin). The model enables transition within Defence but also between Defence and industry.
This will be followed by a presentation by Margot Forster CSM, CEO of the Defence Teaming Centre, on challenges and opportunities for the Defence industry and supporting workforce models to enable industry to ramp up and deliver major Defence projects.
After the presentations, the speakers will participate in a panel discussion on how modern workforce models enable business success but also can be leveraged for a successful transition process.
This is surely a night not to be missed for any active serving member, Defence community member or Defence and industry representative looking to leverage forward-thinking workforce models to increase business success.
Be quick to register as tickets will sell out fast.
No Defence background is required, all business people are welcome!
