Sponsors and Partners - Overview and Benefits

Defence in Business delivers unique value to the Defence and business community through its services aimed at business outside Defence.

Through sponsorships, organisations get the opportunity to demonstrate their support of those who have served their country. In return, DiB is committed to generously reward its sponsors through recognition, brand enhancement and various other benefits.

DiB has several types of sponsorship available.

Types of DiB Sponsorships

Partnerships

Partnerships will be selectively chosen from each industry and are desgined to enable DiB and its partner to deliver services to DiB's individual and corporate members.
Partners will be able to use the offical DiB Partner logo in marketing collateral and will enjoy priority attention throughout DiB activities.

General Sponsorships

General sponsorships contribute funds for general use. Sponsorship agreements are reviewed and negotiated annually.

To deliver value to sponsors, only a limited number of sponsorships are available.

Sponsorships available are geographically based:

  • Platinum - one in each state andnational
  • Gold - two in each state and territory and three national
  • Silver - three in each state and territory and five national

General Sponsors will be able to use the Sponsor Logo on their website and other marketing collateral to demonstrate and advertise their support. They will also receive recognition at DiB activities.

Expressions of Interest to become a general sponsor may be made at any time via the contact form on the contact us page.

Initiative Sponsorships

Initiaitive sponsorships support specific DiB initiatives contributing funds and / or services to ensure the viability of the initiative. Sponsorships are reviewed and negotiated annually.

To deliver optimum marketing value to sponsors, only one sponsorship is available per initiative (some regionally based initiatives may have one sponsor per region).

Example Initiative sponsorships available include:

  • Internet Support - web hosting and web development
  • Newsletter - web based member relations

Initiative sponsors will enjoy exclusive acknowledgement for the initiative and will be able to display the DiB official sponsor logo on their marketing collateral.

Expressions of Interest to suggest an Initiative and / or become an Intitiative Sponsor may be made at any time via the contact form on the contact us page.

Event Sponsorships

Event sponsorships support local DiB events by contributing funds and / or products and services to ensure the viability of local networking functions.

Sponsorships of events are negotiated per event.

Event Sponsorships include, yet are not limited to:

  • Venue - provide the venue for local events (can sometimes include live web streaming)
  • Catering - usually drinks and snacks
  • Showbag - gifts and various paraphernalia
  • Speaker - acknowledgement and appreciation gift

Event sponsors will enjoy acknowledgement during the event only. They will not be entitled to use the DiB official sponsor logo.

Expressions of Interest to sponsor an event should be made as early as possible since an event program is developed progressively and sponsors are generally treated on a first come, first serve basis. Please use the contact us page to register your interest.
